SET at Emerald City Comicon 2014!

Seattle Experimental Theater is delighted to be bringing our geeky improv shows back to the Emerald City Comiccon for the second year in a row! Performances are at the Washington State Convention Center and free to anyone holding valid badges for the day of the performance. (All ECCC badges are currently sold out.)

After two standing-room only performances in 2013, our flagship Star Trek improv parody “Where No Man Has Gone Before” returns in a bigger room on Friday, March 28 at 2:00 PM in Hall B (608-609).

AND our improvised parody of Doctor Who, “The Doctor“, will be making its ECCC debut on Saturday March 29 in Hall B (608-609) at 3:10 PM.

Last year’s performances turned folks away at the door, so if you’re attending make sure to show up early to guarantee your spot in line! We’d love to know who’s joining us – shoot us a Tweet at @SeaExpTheater when you get there!

About the show:

Seattle Experimental Theater invites you to control the time machine with its newest show The Doctor.

The Doctor is a completely unscripted time traveling comedy. Every performance the cast will get suggestions from the audience that they will then use to create the time, location and plot of the show. Every performance promises to be unique, fun and family friendly.

In addition to being improvised every night, The Doctor will have an ongoing mystery throughout its performances, which will culminate in the final matinee performance January 26th.

The Doctor is created by Jeannine Clarke, Sam Hecker and Tony Beeman. It is directed by Jeannine Clarke, director of the hit Star Trek parody, Where No Man Has Gone Before and Wedding Horror Stories.

The Doctor is played by Tony Beeman. The cast of The Doctor is Elizabeth Brammer, Lauren Bond, Ashley Flannegan Russell, Jana Hutchison, Colin Madison, Wayne Pishue, Sarah Scheller and Greg Stackhouse.

The Doctor is produced in association with Theatre Off Jackson.

Local musician, writer, and girl-about-town Sarah Shay will be performing before the show January 17th. For more info on her music, visit sarahshay.com
