Welcome GeekGirlCon!

Seattle Experimental Theater is delighted to be involved with this year’s GeekGirlCon in Seattle with two events:

Performing our hit improvised Star Trek parody “Where No Man Has Gone Before” on Saturday at 8PM in room 303;

AND a panel about SET on Sunday at 3PM in room LL3: “Where No Woman Has Gone Before: Theater by Women, For Everyone.” The SET staff – Jeannine Clarke (owner/artistic director), Samantha Hecker (producer/stage manager) and Cheryl Platz (digital media coordinator/cast member) will be on hand to discuss the challenges they faced founding SET, getting geeky shows off the ground and our future plans.

In addition, GGC attendees will find a flyer in their swag bags for our upcoming show “The Doctor” (an improvised parody of Doctor Who) which will world premiere this January at Theatre Off Jackson. That flyer includes a special discount code, so don’t toss it!
