FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When will the shows be produced?
We are still finalizing our bookings for 2018, and expect that some of our choices will be influenced by the results of this search. However, SET has traditionally produced shows in January/February, May/June, and September/October.

Where will the shows be produced?
One of the benefits of being an independent theatre company is that we have the flexibility to pursue the right venues for each production. While our 2018 schedule is not finalized, our most successful venues have included Theatre Off Jackson, the Ballard Underground, the Jewel Box Theatre, and occasionally the Pocket Theatre.

Are directors or writers compensated?
SET believes strongly in compensating artists for their work, and to that end each show compensates participants with a percentage of profits, with the percentage varying depending on each show’s number of participants and other factors.
